In early years Jordan was born in Brooklyn new york. son of Deloris and James Jordan sr. The family move to north Carolina. when Jordan reach he age of 6.and Jordan attended emsley a Laney high school in Wilmington. where he joined playing baseball, football and basketball.and Jordan also try to join a varsity player when he was in a sophomore year.
In 1981 Jordan earned a basketball scholarship to the university of north Carolina at chapel hill.and he was also a member of psi phi and majored in cultural geography. He made the game winning jump shot in 1982 when he gets the NCAA championship against Georgetown. Then after winning that. He also got the awards in Naismith and wooden College as the player of the year in 1984.
Jordan left North Carolina for a year before his schedule graduation to enter the 1984 N.B.A. draft and the Chicago bulls selected him as the third pick over all.
In early career of Michael Jordan. He quickly become a fan favorite. He was even called a “A STAR IS BORN” and voted to be the rookie of the year.
